Welcome to the Little Cooks Club, the perfect place for a wonderful kiddies party! Our club was established in 2006 by Christine Phillips, a qualified chef who has prepared food around the world including in London and Monte Carlo. Today the Little Cooks Club has franchises all over Gauteng.
The Little Cooks program is aimed at teaching kids between the age of 2 and 15 the principles and techniques of food preparation, cooking and nutrition. The program is also meant to kids the principles of healthy eating and to become more aware about what they put in their bodies.
Little Cooks Parties
We offer a wide range of fantastic kiddie’s parties at our various Little Cooks franchises. These parties aim to promote team work, sensory stimulation, encourage creativity and allow kids to have some good old fashioned fun. All kiddies’ parties are held at the little Cooks Club Studios at our various franchises so be sure to check out our website to find a franchise near you. Our themes include:
Frosting and Fondant Party: The kids spend their time decorating cakes and cake pops. Kids are taught how to make icing and how to ice each cake and cake pop. Cakes are premade and all details confirmed with parents prior to the party.
Kids vs. Kitchen Party: The kids work in teams and challenge each other to cook offs. We allow the kids to work independently and are each given a theme. They then need to plan the entire event, select leaders, delegate tasks, plan their menu and prep all meals. Parents and the Chefs then act as the final judges.
Liquorice and Lime Parties: Kids make delicious dishes from ingredients in a mystery basket. Recipes will be available to help the children make the dishes and our chefs will be on hand to assist where necessary.
Spade and Spatula Party: Dishes are made using a fruit or vegetable they planted at the beginning of the party. This also teaches kids where food comes from and is geared toward teaching them to love and respect nature.
Whisks and wooden spoon parties: Kids spend time making one healthy dish and one decadent food option. You child will get to be head chef on their special birthday whilst learning about the basics of cooking.
