Method

1. Print template – lowercase a.
2. Colour the letter a in red, leaving the top of the stick.
3. Colour the top stick of the letter a in brown for the stalk.
4. Cut a leaf shape out of the green craft cardboard.
5. Stick leaf between the round red apple and the brown stick.
6. Allow to dry.
7. a is for apple.

Method

1. Print template – uppercase letter A.
2. Cut apple in half horizontally.
3. Dip apple in paint and stamp onto the letter A.
4. Repeat all over the letter A.
5. Allow to dry.
6. With scissors cut around the letter A.
7. Glue onto coloured craft cardboard.
8. Allow to dry.

Method

1. Taking the fabric flower pull it apart, using scissors where necessary.
2. Keep aside the pieces you will use for your flower brooch.
3. Glue brooch pin to the back of your fabric flower.
4. Allow to dry.
5. Glue leaves to cover the brooch pin, adding to the flower brooch design.
6. Allow to dry.

Method

1. Glue popsicle sticks around a cardboard tube.
2. Place an elastic band around the popsicle sticks to hold in place.
3. Allow to dry.
4. Remove elastic band.
5. Tie or stick ribbon around the popsicle sticks.
6. Using glue, stick embellishments (or cutouts or motifs) to the popsicle sticks.
7. Allow to dry.
   

Notes

1. If using plain, uncoloured popsicle sticks, these can be painted before or after sticking to the cardboard tube.
2. Decorate with stickers instead of emebellishments, cutouts or motifs, as desired.

Method

1. Using scissors, cut a width off cardboard tube, to form napkin ring.
2. Cut a piece of paper the same width and length as cardboard tube napkin ring.
3. Using glue, stick decorative paper to cardboard tube napkin ring.
4. Allow to dry.
5. Decorate by sticking a fabric or plastic flower onto the napkin ring.
6. Allow to dry.
   

 Notes

1. Decorate with sequins, if desired.
2. Use fabric instead of paper, for a variation of the above.

Method

1. Spray the cardboard tubes, and match box with black spray paint.
2. Allow to dry.
3. Glue a cardboard tube to each side of the matchbox.
4. Allow to dry.
5. With scissors pierce a hole near the top of the outer side of the cardboard tube.
6. Repeat on the other cardboard tube.
7. Thread cord form the inside of the one tube outwards, to the outside of the other tube inwards.
8. Tie knots at the end of each cord, to prevent pulling through the cardboard tubes.
9. Enjoy!

 Method

1. Print tree trunk template.
2. Cut coloured papers into 6cm x 6cm squares.
3. Using crayons colour the tree trunk.
4. Scrunch up one of the square pieces of coloured paper to create a leaf.
5. Glue scrunched paper (leaf) to the end of one of the branches.
6. Continue until you have the desired amount of leaves on your branches, and on the ground.

Method

1. Using scissors, cut cardboard tube open lengthwise.
2. Cut a width off cardboard tube, to form bracelet.
3. Cut a piece of paper the same width and length as cardboard tube bracelet.
4. Using glue, stick decorative paper to cardboard tube bracelet.
5. Allow to dry.
   
   

Notes

1. Decorate with stickers, if desired.
2. Use fabric instead of paper, for a variation of the above.

Method

1. Paint wood in your choice of colour.
2. Allow to dry.
3. Cut out wrapping paper to fit the wood.
4. Glue piece of wrapping paper to the wood.
5. Allow to dry.
6. Vanish over the wrapping paper and wood.
7. Allow to dry.
8. Mark even spaces for the cup hooks.
9. Screw cup hooks into place.
10. Mark positions for eyelets on the back of the key rack.
11. Tie fishing line securely between the eyelets.
12. Hang key rack and keys.

Notes

1. Decorate with stickers, pictures or photographs, instead of wrapping paper,as desired.
2. A great project to work on with Dad for a Mother’s Day gift!
