Tree trunk template
Crayons
Coloured papers (eg. Yellow, orange, red, brown)

 Method

1. Print tree trunk template.
2. Cut coloured papers into 6cm x 6cm squares.
3. Using crayons colour the tree trunk.
4. Scrunch up one of the square pieces of coloured paper to create a leaf.
5. Glue scrunched paper (leaf) to the end of one of the branches.
6. Continue until you have the desired amount of leaves on your branches, and on the ground.

With a pencil start at the left hand leaf (at the arrow) and draw between the lines, following the path the leaves are falling.  Continue to the right hand side leaf.  Try to stay between the lines, without lifting your pencil from the page.  Colour the tree trunks brown.

Daffodil template

Paint (eg. yellow, green)

Egg carton (one segment)

Thin rod or stick

Glue

Coloured craft cardboard (eg. yellow, green)

Method

1. Print daffodil template.
2. Paint template of daffodil petals yellow.
3. Allow to dry.
4. Paint one segment of egg carton yellow.
5. Allow to dry.
6. Paint template of leaf shape green.
7. Allow to dry.
8. Paint rod (or stick) green, for stem.
9. Allow to dry.
10. Cut out painted template shapes of petals and leaves.
11. Glue yellow painted egg carton segment to centre of flower petals.
12. Allow to dry.
13. Glue flower petals (with egg carton attached) to the green painted rod (stem).
14. Allow to dry.
15. Glue leaf shapes to the green rod (stem).
16. Allow to dry.
17. Place in vase.

Notes

1. This craft can be made into a picture by sticking coloured craft cardboard onto paper.

3 small to medium sized pom-poms              

1 Clothes peg

2 Wiggly eyes

Method

1. Glue along the top of one side of the clothes peg.
2. Place the pom-poms onto the glue.
3. Glue the wiggly eyes onto the front pom-pom.

Notes

To turn these pom-pom caterpillars into beautiful butterflies, add wings of your choice.

Fleece (one piece1.5m x 20cm and two pieces 23 cm x 20 cm)

Method

1. Cut fleece to desired size, eg. One piece at 1.5m x 20cm, and two pieces at 23cm x 20 cm for the two pockets.
2. Securely stitch the three outside edges of the small pieces of fleece (pockets) to the large piece of fleece (scarf), leaving an opening for hands.

Method

1. Cut fleece to desired size, eg. 1.5m x 20cm.
2. Turn up the end corners of the fleece to form triangular pockets at each end of the scarf.
3. Securely stitch the outside edge of each of the two pockets.
