Method

1. Using scissors, cut a width off cardboard tube, to form napkin ring.
2. Cut a piece of paper the same width and length as cardboard tube napkin ring.
3. Using glue, stick decorative paper to cardboard tube napkin ring.
4. Allow to dry.
5. Decorate by sticking a fabric or plastic flower onto the napkin ring.
6. Allow to dry.
   

 Notes

1. Decorate with sequins, if desired.
2. Use fabric instead of paper, for a variation of the above.

Method

Biscuits (eg chocolate digestive, or your favourite)

Method

1. Allow ice cream to soften slightly.
2. Spread ice cream onto a biscuit.
3. Take a second biscuit and place on top of the ice cream to from a sandwich.
4. Continue for desired amount of ice cream sandwiches.
5. Freeze until required.
6. Allow to soften slightly at room temperature, before serving.

Method

1. Print template onto red craft cardboard or paper.
2. Fold on each side of the heart shape, creating three folded divisions.
3. Cut around heart shape, ensuring the ends are not cut, but remain linked.
4. Cut out the centre heart.
5. Unfold heart chain.

Options

1. Skip step four, and continue to step five, unfolding heart chain, then cut out the centre heart from the middle heart only (as in the image).

Ingredients
2 litre tub vanilla ice cream
1½cups jelly tots

Method

1. Line a 20cm loaf tin with cling wrap.
2. Allow ice cream to soften slightly.
3. Mix jelly tots into softened ice cream.
4. Spoon ice cream into lined loaf tin.
5. Freeze until solid.
6. Dip loaf tin into hot water and unmould.
7. Serve sliced.

Notes

1. Sprinkle unmoulded ice cream with additional jelly tots for serving, if desired.

Ingredients
420g tin red kidney beans, drained
1cup mild tomato salsa
½cup baked beans in tomato sauce
300g corn or tortilla chips
150g cheddar cheese, grated

Method

1. Combine the kidney beans, salsa and baked beans in bowl.
2. Place half the corn chips on a microwave safe dish.
3. Top with half the bean mixture.
4. Repeat with remaining chips and bean mixture.
5. Sprinkle with grated cheese.
6. Microwave at 50% for 4 minutes, or until bean mixture is heated through, and cheese has melted.
7. Microwave at 100% for 1 minute.
8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Method

1. Print flower template of choice.
2. Using coloured craft cardboard, cut out flower template.
3. Place tealight candle in centre of flower shape and draw around it with pencil.
4. Cut out the inner circle shape of the tealight candle, from the craft cardboard flower.
5. Carefully slide the tealight candle into the cut out circle shape of the craft cardboard flower, trimming where necessary to create a tight fit, (secure with glue if necessary).

WARNING                                                                   
Never leave open flame unattended.
Adult supervision required.

Method

1. Print template.
2. Using black craft cardboard or paper, fold into concertina fan (fold widths to be slightly less than width of bat template).
3. Using template cut around bat shape, ensuring the ends are not cut, but remain linked.
4. Unfold bat chain.
